In 1994 some of friends who had the Vespa Scooter, they were visiting together, inventing the whole amazing nature. Sometimes some adventurous were joined to them. For this reason, now group is exploded and it is getting bigger than bigger day by day. It is needed the, this is the time to giving name to these groups.
In 1999, ISTANBUL VESPA FUN CLUB was established by these group. Each year they made very interesting activities and also having natural travelling. These kinds of activities were changing from the year. We were to be big family like a sister and brother, moreover we were to be goods friends. Whenever we needed to help, the other group’s member supported us. Shared our happiness each other and our problems also. We are good coorperation, it has many different kinds of job and association.
Dealed with International Vespa Club and tried to improve our relationship with international side. International Vespa Club was founded in 1953 and during the 50 years, this federation wasn’t came into Turkey. So that we decided to join the international vespa club. In 22 Jun we went to Viyana to Federation meeting and joined them. Kemal Arikan was the chief of International Vespa Turkey Federation and our named which is Vespa Club Turkey was patended for us after 50 years later so we were lucky.
Next year in Portugual, in new meeting for Vespa Club, it is the first time in the brosure and handout are pressed to include Turkey location. Now we have only one mission that all other countries which memeber of Vespa Club should know our country. We are willing to introduce Turkey to outside.
Both Istanbul Vespa Fun Club and Vespa Club Turkey are to become the member of Vespa Scooter Motorcycle Club Association. Now we will start to prepare motorbike racing and some sports activities.
